XAPT Rental Management IP Acquired by Microsoft to Deliver Next-Generation Rental Management Capabilities in Dynamics 365
MIAMI, Fla., December 9, 2025 – XAPT, a global enterprise software and services company, today announced an IP agreement with Microsoft, under which Microsoft has acquired rental management technology from XAPT to support the development of new rental management capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
“We are excited to see Microsoft expand rental capabilities within core Dynamics 365 and to have our rental experience and technology contribute to this next stage,” said Rich Brinke, Director of Product Management at XAPT. “Heavy equipment sets one of the highest bars for rental, reflecting the scale of the industry and the high operational standards dealers must meet. Our team has spent years building technology for this space, and we are proud to see that experience play a role here.”
Sameer Verma, VP, AI ERP at Microsoft, added, “Rental organizations face unique operational challenges, especially in heavy equipment, where scale and precision are critical. We are excited to add elements of XAPT’s rental management technology to the new capabilities we’re building into Microsoft Dynamics 365, enabling customers to drive greater clarity, consistency, and control across their end-to-end rental operations.” XAPT will continue supporting its existing customers and advancing its NAXT365 and Tire365 solutions to help dealers strengthen rental operations on the Dynamics 365 platform.
